SENIOR DIESEL MECHANIC

Leomat is seeking an experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic to join our operations at our headoffice workshop in Richards Bay, KZN. This is a critical role for a skilled professional who thrives in a high-pressure environment and is passionate about maintaining and repairing heavy-duty equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on various Heavy Earthmoving equipment and other large construction plant machinery.
Supervise workshop activities and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Manage labour relations and maintain effective communication within the team.
Report directly to the Workshop Manager.
Requirements
Diesel Mechanic Trade Test certification.
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience, specifically with Liebherr equipment and other big plant machinery.
Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in supervision and team management.
