Welcome to the Leomat website, providing comprehensive information of our core businesses including Construction, Plant Hire/Earthmoving Equipment, Material Handling and Mining services - through our three companies, Leomat Plant Hire Pty (Ltd), Leomat Construction Pty (Ltd) and Leomat Durban Pty (Ltd).  Leomat operates from the head office in Richards Bay, KZN, and has operations throughout KZN including Durban, Pietermaritzburg and Ladysmith, as well as Delmas, Gauteng.

Leomat's companies have been graded according to the BBBEE Construction Charter, click here for our scorecards. The company is focused on continually improving this rating, and as such has achieved a Level 4 rating.  Leomat's BEE focus has extended into exploring black economic empowerment deals such as an employee share-scheme.  This potential broad-based black empowerment transaction will give employees an equity interest in the company.  

With an extensive family history of construction in Africa dating back to 1897, Leomat continues the family tradition through acquiring an extensive portfolio of work since our establishment in 1979. Leomat takes contracting to another level, building relationships and giving our clients the best possible service.  The group is continually growing, seeking new challenges and building solid relationships.
