Leomat believes that achievements in safeguarding the workplace and our environment against hazards resulting from our operations are valued equally with other results. Our performance in matters of safety, occupational health, the environment and integrated risks is reinforced by our implementation and maintenance if our health and safety programme

Leomat Plant Hire (Pty)Ltd and Leomat Construction (Pty)Ltd was assessed by NOSA against the provisions of the NOSA Five Star System in occupational, health and safety management in November 2005, both receiving their five-star grading.

In 2006 NOSA awarded Leomat Construction (Pty)Ltd for achieving second place in the NOSA five-star System, Section F (construction). Leomat Plant Hire (Pty)Ltd were awarded third place.

5-Star Status

In 2007 Leomat Plant Hire (Pty)Ltd and Leomat Construction (Pty)Ltd registered with the Kwa-Zulu Natal Builders and Allied Industry Association, whereby both companies achieved their five-star grading in occupational health, safety and environment.  To date we have maintained our 5-star status.

In conjunction with our employees, Leomat will do everything in its power to prevent accidents, injuries, occupational illnesses and the release of materials, which could be detrimental to the environment. Leomat will commit to continually improve health, safety and environmental matters.
